The Green Door Design/Build team designs and builds small, functional, eco-friendly & affordable spaces. We abide by low impact, highly sustainable building principles in all of our projects.
Here’s what we do:
- Custom Green Building. We build small homes using sustainable materials and practices.
- Renovation/Additions.We can redesign and revision your existing home with an eye for smart use of space and green living.
- Backyard studios. We design and build sleep shacks, studios, workrooms, and other outdoor retreats ranging in size from 32 square feet to 1000 square feet.
- Homesteader items. For the homesteader, farmer, or farmer/curious, we offer a variety of useful items including cold frames, chicken coops, greenhouses, recycling bins, water catchment systems, worm bins, & animal housing.
- Tree House. A collaboration that includes kids, parents, and the Green Door Design/Build team. We’ll design and build your tree house. Invite your friends, and we’ll raise the tree house with you and the kids!
- Specialty items.We’ve got lots of cool items in production, including outdoor showers, tables, patios, gazebos, natural play areas and more.
